Sign in and take a look at all the information about the Five Pound Football Club community elections. All members are eligible to stand for election. We encourage you all to discuss how our community should progress - and how you'd be able to help. It doesn't matter where you live, how much you've contributed or how long you've been a member, you can help shape our community's future:

When are the elections taking place (noted the discussion phase ends 11th May) and are what criteria (if any) are we looking at for a president (if that's the correct leadership role/ title)?

We'll be contacting everyone that's put their name forward and will present an overview to the community. There isn't any particularly strict criteria. I expect the decision will be based on a mix of experience and enthusiasm!

Just a quick update. The process was delayed slightly as I became a dad (for the first time) slightly earlier than expected. A couple of people will be helping get the election process back on track. All candidates will recieve a request for some additional information over the next couple of days. This information will be presented to members and the voting can commence!

Are will going to be having Elections or what,I am not happy with the lack of movement with the FPFC. Monmouth just got promoted and we are not doing anything to help or raise funds.

hi weenie
the results have all been counted! myself (as president), steve elliott and james cart have been elected on to the board and the other candidates have been asked by nick to form a management committee.
we had been expecting nick to post the results as, though we have been given some of the keys to the door, there are parts of the site, such as posting articles, that we haven't been fully brought up to speed about.
i've tried to keep members updated about all things monmouth town/fpfc via this forum but there's far more info - match reports etc to be found at www.monmouthtownfc.com including a link to the fpfc site from their home page, so i'd suggest you make that your first point of call. there will soon also be a link to this forum from their website
if you've got any questions, feel free to email me at dukespirit@aol.com (@peterdoubt on twitter)
it was an exciting start to the season with a 3-3 draw away at aberdare last saturday and with 2 more matches this week, things are starting to move very fast.
come on the kingfishers!
